Vaping, as an alternative to traditional smoking, has always been accompanied by numerous claims regarding its benefits and drawbacks. Some argue that vaping is a risk-free method for quitting smoking, while others warn of its potential health hazards. This study aims to scientifically analyze six key questions about vaping, including the effectiveness of different devices for quitting smoking, the comparison of nicotine salt and freebase nicotine, the differences between pod systems and mods, the impact of nicotine-free e-liquids on health, the harms of burnt coils, and an introduction to reputable brands. Additionally, common true and false beliefs about each of these topics are examined and analyzed. Findings indicate that having scientific knowledge can help users make informed choices about vaping products while minimizing potential risks.
